Garden waste collection resume from 1st November
Garden waste collections will restart in Wokingham borough on Monday (1 November) following a suspension due to national HGV driver shortages impacting Wokingham Borough Council’s waste collection contractor Veolia.
Residents due for collection from Monday (1 November) should put their garden waste out for collection as normal. If you are unsure about your collection days, you can check your day on WBC’s waste collection webpage.
WBC appreciates residents have paid for this additional service, therefore subscriptions will be automatically extended by four weeks, from 1 May to 29 May 2022 to make up for the two missed collections.
